As an example, the strategic location of the Long-Sault canal that has contributed to the development of the village in the 1830's, a legacy of great historical value. Bordered to the sought by the Ouataouais river, which offers a shore rich in fauna and flora, this very Québécois village in joined to Ontario by the Long-Sault Bridge.
